We’ve been out filming bits for a trailer for “Once Upon A Time” this evening, zipping from place to place in Cambridge to get the shots. Mostly it seems today we were focusing on kidnappings, and evil minions just being generally frightening. See how scary we all look, with the kidnapped Rapunzel’s hair:

We had fun trying to make it seem like we were carrying Rapunzel down a spiral staircase, despite not having anyone to play Rapunzel. Cue much checking of the shots taken:

We moved outside, using one of Cambridge’s suitably ancient looking doors (mainly due to them actually being ancient) for a shot:

Later shots included possibly the world’s tallest fairy getting kidnapped, and stomping boots shot using a bike as a platform so that we could get a reasonably steady moving camera. That’s the sort of inventiveness you need when you don’t have professional level tech! Acting out all the little scenes and doing some pretty silly things to get the shots we want was fun, and I’m looking forward to all of the shows.
