About

Two Shades of Blue is a theatre company that delights in bringing works of light entertainment to audiences that want their theatre to be fun.

We formed in 2003 from members of the Cambridge and Oxford Light Entertainment Societies, two venerable theatre groups whose alumni include Sandi Toksvig, Graeme Garden, HRH The Prince Edward and John Cleese. We produce popular plays in the Light Entertainment tradition, and we provide entertainment for all age ranges.

Since our first production, “The Three Musketeers” was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, we have been to the fringe with a variety of different productions, including sell-out shows in 2007 and 2008, and 2010. Critical success is often close behind, with positive reviews from, amongst others, The Scotsman. We also performed Luxembourg’s only family pantomime, in 2010 and again in 2011, which played to sell-out, happy, audiences.
