"The fun doesn't stop for the whole hour" Three Weeks
Two Shades of Blue is a theatre company that delights in bringing works of light entertainment to audiences that want their theatre to be fun.
We formed in 2003 from members of the Cambridge and Oxford Light Entertainment Societies, two venerable theatre groups whose alumni include Sandi Toksvig, Graeme Garden, HRH The Prince Edward and John Cleese. We produce popular plays in the Light Entertainment tradition, and we provide entertainment for all age ranges.
Since our first production, “The Three Musketeers” was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, we have been to the fringe with a variety of different productions, including sell-out shows in 2007 and 2008, and 2010. Critical success is often close behind, with positive reviews from, amongst others, The Scotsman. We also performed Luxembourg’s only family pantomime, in 2010 and again in 2011, which played to sell-out, happy, audiences.read more
We are delighted to announce we are returning to the Edinburgh fringe for the 10th consecutive year. As an anniversary treat, we are once again presenting some of our best and most popular shows. Our Edinburgh fringe programme for 2012 is:

- Quantum Battlestar Deep-Space Voyager Tardis Wars: The Million-Dollar Space Epic
- Sherlock Holmes and the Sound of the Baskervilles
We’re also delighted to be supporting two fabulous shows

- The Mechanism’s Once upon a time (in space), steampunk musical cabaret.
