We’re delighted to announce Edinburgh Fringe 2012 audition information for Two Shades of Blue!

This year we’re presenting three wonderful shows:

• Sherlock Holmes and the Sound of the Baskervilles
• Back to the Future: The Pantomime
• Quantum Battlestar Deep-Space Voyager Tardis Wars: The Million-Dollar Space Epic (now cast)

I WANT TO ACT

Then you need to come to an audition. Times and dates are as follows:

• Friday 27th April 5pm-10pm the Fraenkel Room in Corpus Christi College in Oxford, we’re fully booked up 5:15pm-9:45pm but if you come along we can sign you up for an audition on Saturday morning or slot you in if there are any gaps.
• Saturday 28th April 3pm-7pm in the Red Deer pub in Sheffield, booked up until 5:20pm.
• Sunday 29th April 11am-2:30pm in the ADC Dressing Rooms in Cambridge, booked up until 1:20PM.
• Sunday 29th April 4:30pm-7pm in the Kenton Room at the Harrow Arts Centre (Greater London, near Hatch End Station), we’re pretty booked up but if you turn up after 6pm we’ll try and fit you in.

Please turn up a few minutes in advance of your slot to prepare and fill in a couple of simple forms, which are included below.

Most parts require some singing, so please prepare a short song to sing at auditions. It doesn’t have to be spectacular, something like a nursery rhyme is fine. It’s just so the directors can hear your voice and see if you can hold a tune.

As well as actors we’re looking for production roles, including Company Managers, Musical Directors, Stage Managers and many more! If you’re interested then come along during auditions and we’ll have a chat.

THE SMALL PRINT

To be involved you need to be free from August 18th to the 27th inclusive and (depending on the role) all or part of the rehearsal
period. Rehearsals will take place either during a rehearsal week preceding the show (11th-17th August) or during mutually agreed
weekends. In particular Quantum will be rehearsed over weekends in London.

The company runs on a profit share basis, this year the cost will be approximately £375. This includes all accommodation, food, drink and
transport to Edinburgh. As we operate as a profit share you’ll receive a portion of the money invested back at the end, depending on ticket
sales. In previous years we’ve managed to return anything from £10 to £100 each!
