Harry Ullman

HarryThis is Harry’s first year performing at the fringe and he’s delighted to be coming up this year, though he is also a veteran of light entertainment, having founded his own society. By trade he is a PHD student mathematician who spends his days thinking teacups are the same as donuts and wondering how to make witches hats mathematical. His hobbies include writing, general geekery and listening to Folk Heavy Metal music, which believe it or not does exist. He is also company comptroller this year.

1. What’s your favourite type of cake? Cheesecake! Preferably chocolate rather than fruit based ones.

2. If you were a fairytale character or creature, who or what would you be and why? Does Beserker Warrior count? If not, then a Dragon.

3. What would you find in Room 101? Heights, though the concept of putting them into room 101 would probably break the world…

Matilda Hay

MatildaThis is Matilda’s first time at the Fringe Festival and she is suitably excited (ie – very), especially about the scene where she gets to be a singing polar bear. Her favourite colour is purple and her favourite food is a roast potate. Her friends would tell you that she laughs with her hands infront of her mouth and loves dancing (with actions). She is studying Biological Natural Sciences at Clare College, Cambridge.

1. What’s your favourite type of cake? Definitely banana cake

2. If you were a fairytale character or creature, who or what would you be and why? I’d be Peter Pan because I never want to grow up!

3. What would you find in Room 101?

Anything really painful.

Clemency Cooper

Clem

Clem stumbled across Light Entertainment three years ago and has since produced, performed and assembled an atrocious array of accents in numerous shows. Although continuing her role as press and publicity manager for Two Shades again this year, she has suspended her leek-wielding terrorist activities in favour of a rather long nose. When not organising a dramatic company Clem is usually found herding hordes of school children and finds the logistics of these two occupations remarkably similar.

1. What’s your favourite type of cake?

This is trickier than I can possibly convey. I am a cup of tea and a slice of cake fiend. I’m particularly proud of a cider and apple cake I once made and far less proud of a pumpkin cake I made… minus flour… and guilt-triked my sister into eating.

2. If you were a fairytale character or creature, who or what would you be and why?

I would be the ‘witch’ in Hansel and Gretel. I suspect she’s terribly misunderstood for a woman who lives in the tastiest house in the land. I would certainly get a little overprotective if I lived in a gingerbread cottage iced with candycanes and srummy sweets!

3. What would you find in Room 101? Quiz machines. And not a bar in sight.
